After spending just 3 minutes in our Whole Body Cryotherapy chamber, the cold the body is exposed to sets off a chain of events in the body that our clients report leaves them feeling energised, motivated and positive.

During the 3 minutes spent in our state of the art cryotherapy chamber we aim to achieve a change of 10 °C in the surface temperature of your skin. A Cryo Chamber makes the brain believe that it needs to trigger a survival state within the body, don’t worry this stops as soon as you step out, however the resultant affects don’t stop. With an increase in the bodies metabolism and an increase in the concentrations of adrenaline, nor-adrenaline, serotonin and endorphins in the blood (Rymaszewska et al., 2019), clients report this leaves them with a sense of newfound energy, positive feelings, exhilaration and euphoria, almost like a newfound energy for life.

In addition the same reactions within the body see significantly increased blood flow to the extremities once a session is over, delivering more blood loaded with oxygen and nutrients to where it is needed as a result of the cryotherapy. This combined with the associated increase of pain relieving endorphins and reduction in the local and systemic inflammation that cryotherapy delivers means our treatments can help relieve the pain associated with the below conditions.
